Annual General Meeting

The Clubs AGM was held at the Robin Hood Inn on the 8th of November and saw a good turn out from our members. The Chairmans opening remarks outlined the steps forward we have made this year in the variety of runs out, the efforts we have made to keep members informed of what is happening in the Club, and the continuing good attendance at the local shows and Club nights. Special mention of thanks were made to Arthur and Liz for organizing the runs out and the Christmas W/End and trip to the Classic Car Show. Alan moved on to plans for next year, the Two day Run will be held again towards the end of April traveling through the Lakes to an overnight halt in Carlisle then coming home through the North Yorkshire Moors.A couple of longer one day runs are planned and a couple of runs out for a meal as well as the usual Sunday Runs and Shows. A Club stand will be on at the Cumbria Classic Car Show next year.

The Chairman and Committee were re-elected unopposed so you will have to put up with us another year. The Committee proposed that we should buy a Coleman Event Shelter fo use at Shows and any social event we organize- Picnic?BBQ? and two Club flags  which will cost in the region of £400 but will be a great asset to the Club- This was agreed by the members so we will go ahead with that. We are going to attempt to recruit more members at the shows we attend this year with a manned recruitment point at all shows.
